Split Core Current Transformer

A split core current transformer (CT) is a type of current transformer that is designed with a split in its core, allowing it to be easily installed or retrofitted around a conductor without the need to disconnect the circuit, used to measure alternating current (AC) flowing through a conductor circuit.

The most important feature of split core CT is that it is convenient to install; it is also called a wireless current sensor.
